Emeras is a large continent, about the same size as Eurasia. It consists of ten kingdoms: five of them belonging to the humans and five to the elves. Those two races have fought for power over the whole continent for centuries. After the Duel of the Tower and the fall of the bravest human knight, Wind, Emeras has been ruled by the elves.
